
The Beacon of Hope is a registered charity providing immediate
comfort and on going practical and nursing support to people with
terminal and life limiting illness in Ceredigion, South Gwynedd and
West Powys.Our dedicated staff and volunteers work in the community out
of offices in Aberystwyth, Cardigan and Machynlleth and aim to enable
people to live the best quality of life in the time they have left. Elizabeth Murphy, founded the Beacon of Hope Charity in 2000.
In HM the Queen’s birthday honours list 2008, Elizabeth was awarded the MBE in recognition of her services to the community.
