Newid Mân, Newid Mawr / Small Change, Big Difference

The Beacon of Hope would like to invite readers living in Ceredigion and North Powys to support us for the month of October in a fundraising activity to highlight World Hospice Week (8th –15th October).

Please simply collect any small change lying around your house, car, office etc and bring it in to your local Beacon of Hope office (or our shop in Aberystwyth). All money raised will help to ensure that essential Hospice at Home care continues to be available to local people who need it.

For the artistic among you, we are also running a competition to create an image from your small change. All you have to do is take a photo of your image and send it to sharon.woodcock@thebeaconofhope.org.uk. Please also contact Sharon if you would like to become a ‘Chain Leader’, collecting coppers from your friends and spreading the word, or if you would like us to come and get your coin collection.

We already have one large Ceredigion business committed to supporting us and we hope that many more businesses, organisations and individuals will do likewise. All money raised by the Beacon of Hope remains within Ceredigion and North Powys, with dedicated staff and volunteers working in the community from offices in Aberystwyth, Cardigan and Machynlleth.
